Whale, Dolphin and Turtle Watching
The ocean in front of the Frente Sur is just teeming with wildlife. See dolphins, whales, and turtles. Snorkel and explore the sheltered reefs and see many other animals . Fishing rods are on board just in the case, the boys are fisherman at heart. We are sure your experience with Captain Alex and his crew will be one to tell your friends about.
Leaving from little fishing town of Ostional you embark on a 3-4 hour tour. You will see a beautiful piece of coastline which is part of the Refugio de Vida Silvestre la Flor. From November until April you will be looking for visiting humpback and 3 species of endemic whales, and 7 species of dolphins. Turtles are very common on this coastline and it is almost certain you will see some thanks to the large nesting population. Plunge underwater and explore the life below the waves in a beautiful protected cove.
